Current activity

Jhon Jairo Velásquez obtained his undergraduate degree in Bioengineer from Universidad de Antioquia (UdeA) in 2014. Jhon focused his Bachelor’s Thesis in medical software development in neurosurgery area. Currently works in the development of simulation tools based on neurosurgery and functional neurosurgery, and He's doing a Master's degree in Engineering focused in the development of simulators based on virtual reality.

  • System for training in neurosurgery: hardware and software for learning and assessment methodologies.
  • Medical image processing.
  • Simulators based in virtual reality.
