Biography

Alejandro Camacho received his Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering in 2010 and a a Master of Science degree in 2015, both from Universidad de Antioquia. Since his undergraduate thesis, Alejandro is interested in Biomedical Signal Processing, with emphasis in electromyography (EMG) for applications in Intensive Care Medicine and Mechanical Ventilation. His During his Master’s thesis he used surface EMG signals to forecast the results of the weaning process by means of nonlinear methods. Alejandro currently works in the development of simulation tools based on software for training in Medicine and Bioengineering.
